John Howard

Bartender

John Howard has been a professional bartender working between NYC and LA for over 23 years. His no nonsense approach to bartending has him in high demand on both coasts.

John began his career at the age of 16 as a busboy picking up glasses in a college nightclub and was quickly promoted to barback and 6 months later was bartending. He never looked back. He had the privelage of working in some of the nightclubs in NYC and LA that he feels revolutionized the nightclub industry as we know it today. NV, Pangaea, Marquee and Tenjune in NYC and Teddys and the Tropicana Bar in LA just to name a few.

John believes anyone who has the desire to take on this profession needs the right foundation and skills to have any chance of having a career behind the bar. Good habits from the beginning are an invaluable commodity, that is why his passion is training people and giving them the skills they need to help them achieve as enjoyable and lucrative career as he has.

Pier Cecelia Morton

Manager, Bartender

Pier Cecelia Morton has been a bartender for the past 16 years. She primarily bartended in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked at numerous clubs, restaurants, private events and provided basic bartender training. She also taught bartending at one of the leading schools in the tri-state area with an emphasis on students learning not only how to correctly make cocktails, but also the importance of creating their own recipes.

She currently resides in New York City, where she is the manager of a lounge, bartends private events, and is an instructor for Bar Virgin. Her main objective is to get members of Bar Virgin to feel as comfortable behind the bar as possible, while focusing on great customer service. "There is more to being a great bartender than just memorizing cocktail recipes. Your customers are your guest, and you should treat them as such."
